Here a novel approach is made to design a reliable system that can detect the drowsiness of the driver and generate an alert. The detection process is done using a neural network. In this project, a neural network is optimized to make it compatible with the Android platform.
2. Implementation of Cost Effective Smart Home Controller with Android Application using Node MCU and IoT
In this project, an Android application(API) is designed to control the home appliances. A microcontroller is used at the consumer’s end and is connected to the Internet of Things using IoT protocols. The API is installed on an Android mobile and it employs a server-client architecture. The user sends requests from the android application, the API connects to the server. From the server, the request is sent to the controller. These requests are sent through HTTP. Upon receiving the request, the controller switches ON/OFF the devices accordingly.
3. Aadhar card-based Android Application for Patient Monitoring system
India is a densely populated country. With the rapid increase in the number of diseases and due to various natural calamities in past years, a large number of people have been admitted into hospitals. In such scenarios, it becomes difficult for the medical authorities to equally divide their attention among the patients. This project is designed with an aim to make the process more efficient and organized.
Here a mobile application is designed which continuously monitors patients vital parameters and alert the authorities with an alarm, whenever the values raise certain set threshold values. The patient’s health status will be updated in the database of the application. Thus, the doctor can diagnose the patient without any inquiries and in less time. As the Aadhar number is unique to everyone, it is possible to access the medical history of any personnel, which is beneficial for treatment in emergency conditions. Software tally 7.2 setup.
4. Activity Recognition Based on Deep Learning and Android Application
This project utilizes the machine learning process on an android platform. Here the data associated with the activity like climbing, jogging, walking, sitting and standing is collected. This data is used to train the activity detection model. The model is trained using Tensorflow, the machine learning software and the deployed on the android platform. A mobile application is designed which can use this model to recognize the activity of the people.
5. Android Controlled Smart wheelchair for Disabled
In this project, the movements of the wheelchair are controlled using an Android application instead of the joystick. The wheelchair also has motion detectors and ECG detectors which activate the alarm if the heartbeat of the personnel is below the threshold levels. This wheelchair is lower in cost than the existing models and more flexible to operate. The biometric sensors added to the wheelchair are very useful for critical patients.
6.Android-based Prescription Viewer Application
This project is an electronic-based prescription format for the doctors. The usage of this application is very simple for the doctors as it allows them to enter the patient’s name, drugs’ details, and dosage. Once the details like the patient’s postal address and area code are fed into the application, it enables the patient to acquire medicines directly from any pharmacy store. This system also provides a facility to send instructions to the patients.
7. Children Tracking System Using Bluetooth MANET Composed of Android Mobile Terminals
With this application, parents can easily track the whereabouts of their children using Android mobiles. In this system, Android terminals communicate through a Bluetooth MANET. This application also facilitates the exchange of information through wireless LAN.
8. Authentication Schemes for Session Passwords using Color and Images by Android
Many people often use text-based passwords for the security of the data stored in their mobiles. However, the use of text-based passwords is prone to dictionary attacks and eavesdropping. This project is proposed to develop high security by implementing passwords as colors and images.
9. Android Suburban Railway Ticketing with GPS as Ticket Checker
This project eliminates the need to stand in queue for buying tickets. This particular system enables any user to buy the suburban railway ticket on the smartphone itself, and also provides reference code for the ticket. This project uses the GPS system of the smartphone to validate and delete the ticket automatically once the user reaches the destination point.

This application enables the integration of Android software with network management functions and media-oriented system transport technologies to use multiple network access. Depending upon the queries of users, mobile applications often retrieve data from the remote servers. This affects the life of the batteries of the servers due to slow response time from the remote servers, and also due to a large number of queries. This application provides a solution by deploying mid-network systems with leasing capabilities. It helps reduce the consumption of the battery and also improves the performance of the system or response time.
13. A Personalized Mobile Search Engine (PMSE)
This project is different from the conventional search engines as it provides the ease of searching based on user preferences. The user preferences are classified as content concepts and location concepts. The project involves the arrangement of user preferences in the ontology-based multifaceted user profile for rank adaption purpose.
