The kit captures the signature styled drums used by J Dilla using vinyl samples and vintage drum machines. We then tweaked them to perfection with the same filtering techniques, creative EQs & compression as the legendary producer. Included in this pack are:

• 157 Snares
• 46 HiHats
• 34 Percussion Samples

We used a variety of gear to get that hard to achieve, authentic boom bap flavour. We combined drum samples from vinyl with old school 12 bit drum machine processing from the E-mu SP-1200. You can literally hear that these drums have been dipped in beautiful crunchy warmth! Get them if you’re done with sterile sounding drum beats from the digital world.
