I don't think that would be the actual explanation of this sentence. 'peer'
means (local dialect for 'peed' or 'peeda' meaning pain) parai meaning of
someone else. 'bantey' means to share. The line means 'There is no one in
this world who genuinely lshares or understands others' pain.'

of course, 'yunhi' means 'without any reason'.. so There is no one in this
world who shares others' pain without a reason. A moral guide to a stranger
is not even close to it.

Very beautiful and sentimental song. I cannot imagine anyone singing this
song other than the great Kishore Da. Can we imagine indian cinema without
Kishore Da?
